Lorena started dance lessons at the age of 3 years, beginning her journey with Ballet, which lead to her gaining RAD (ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE) Grade qualifications up to Intermediate Level. She also expanded on her training with Jazz and Contemporary dance. She competed in dance at International Level, attending reputable competitions including  the Expression Concorso Internazionale Di Danza – IDA (2008) - Participation, Terpsichoris Erga (Awarded from the Jury: Anne-Marie Porras, Hervé Rumeau, Rudy Bryans (2006)); Second Prize in Contemporary Dance Solo 1, Third Prize in Jazz Dance Solo 2, Third Prize in Basic Dance Solo 1, Third Prize in Jazz Group Dance.

 

Lorena then moved to the UK, where she was trained by Greg Gillespie, an ISTD Fellow and British Dance Champion at the London Academy of Dance, gaining her IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) Teacher Qualifications in Latin and Ballroom Dances for Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha Cha and Jive. She also holds a diploma in Salsa by Fernando Sosa, one of the most known salsa teachers across the world. Bachata Sensual Diploma from the creators of the style Korke y Judith and  Salsa Cabaret Acrobatics from Karen y Ricardo. Lorena has also completed her Level 3 for Personal Training, and is qualified for Ante and Post-natal adaptations to exercise.
