Ornella

Originally from Palermo, Italy, Ornella started her dance training at the age of 3, with Melissa Mackie of the Royal Ballet School, Lilli Russo (ballet) and Daniela Donato (contemporary). She was part of the youth dancers company at Massimo Theatre  and gained work experience as dancer in Palermo Operas. She studies at The Opus Ballet Contemporary school  in Florence where she had the privilege of dancing for international choreographers from around the world.

After moving to London in 2014, she graduated from the West Thames College with HE Dance Course. She has collaborated with the Emmeline Cresswell Dance Company and Sketch Dance Company on multiple creative dance projects. In 2016 she taught adults ballet  classes at West Thames College and recently  started studying a new dance fusion of Contemporary and Capoeira classes. In 2019 she  started teaching children at Ballet North School,  preparing children for the IDTA exams. She is also currently studying at Royal Academy Dance where she will become qualifies to teach the RAD ballet syllabus.

Ines Carvalho

Ines is a choreographer, performer and teacher in the areas of Contemporary, Jazz and Ballet. In 2011, she was selected to represent Portugal during the Dance Excellence Festival in Los Angeles and won the 1st Place in Contemporary Dance (Advanced) at Festival Norte Dança, in Portugal, in 2015. In between, she started teaching dance to groups of all ages and she co-created a pioneer dance therapy project for mental health awareness. As a performer, she was a member of Sabor Latino Dance Company and work as a freelancer in many projects. In 2018, she moved to London where she started teaching Contemporary Dance for adults at City Academy. Her latest work includes performing at the cyber show 'Connect', choreographed by the American artist Bianca Paige Smith and as a choreographer of the video-performance 'Past is not Dead'. She is passionate about connecting dance to well-being and she loves the creative power of contemporary dance.
