Lorena Savvidou

Lorena started dance lessons at the age of 3 years, beginning her journey with Ballet, which lead to her gaining RAD (ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE) Grade qualifications up to Intermediate Level. She also expanded on her training with Jazz and Contemporary dance. As a student, she competed in dance at International Level with her Dance School, attending reputable competitions including  the Expression Concorso Internazionale Di Danza – IDA (2008) - Participation, Terpsichoris Erga (Awarded from the Jury: Anne-Marie Porras, Hervé Rumeau, Rudy Bryans (2006)); Second Prize in Contemporary Dance Solo 1, Third Prize in Jazz Dance Solo 2, Third Prize in Basic Dance Solo 1, Third Prize in Jazz Group Dance.  Lorena then moved to the UK, where she was trained by Greg Gillespie, an ISTD Fellow and British Dance Champion at the London Academy of Dance, gaining her IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) Teacher Qualifications in Latin and Ballroom Dances for Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha Cha and Jive. Lorena also holds a diploma in Salsa by Fernando Sosa, one of the most known salsa teachers across the world. Bachata Sensual Diploma from the creators of the style Korke y Judith and  Salsa Cabaret Acrobatics from Karen y Ricardo. Lorena has also completed her Level 3 for Personal Training, and is qualified for Ante and Post-natal adaptations to exercise.  She now runs the dance services of The London Academy of Dance as the new Director.

Stefan Pascal

Born in Romania, Stefan's passion for dance lead him  to competing since the early  age of 10  and to start teaching at the age of 17  in Romania and then in several reputable dance schools in the UK. Stefan has completed Ballroom and Latin Studies with FRDS - WDSF. He has also done Caribbean Dances Workshops and completed a Schwinn Cycling Instructor Course. He has worked as a dance teacher and also dance fitness instructor for reputable venues like The London Academy of Dance, Third Space, Nuffield Health, NextGenerationDanceStudio, Fox School of Artists and Dance Planet. He has been a performer for 'Dance Planet' in Bucharest. He specializes in Ballroom dances, and he can get amateurs ready and prepared for competitions. Stefan is also a qualified L3 Personal Trainer. Stefan's teaching expertise includes Ballroom Dances and Latin Dances.

Ester Carbonero

Ester Carbonero is a Contemporary, Ballet, Ballroom and Latin dancer and teacher, originally from Spain. She have been dancing and winning over years at professionals ballroom and Latin competitions in Spain. She took part on Spanish Dance TV Show "Fama a Bailar 2018" coming out a finalist. Her credits include choreographing for SKY TV and teaching for studios such as Studio 68, Base Dance Studios, Pineapple, Connection Dance Center and Danza 13 and dancing at the Musical The Bodyguard and the company Circlassica in Madrid. Ester specializes in contemporary, lyrical, jazz, commercial, as well as Latin and Ballroom Dances.

Lowri Beth Evans

Lowri Beth Evans is a versatile professional dancer from South Wales. She started dancing at the age of three as a competitive Latin and Ballroom dancer taking various Welsh and British titles. In her late teens she began training in ballet, jazz, contemporary and commercial in Rubicon Dance before moving to London to begin professional training at London Studio Centre.

 

Lowri has graduated with a 1st class BA Honours Degree in musical Theatre and has since performed all over the world in various productions and venues. She has been fortunate to work with innovative creatives in the field and is constantly on the search for new and exciting opportunities. Her teaching expertise in Latin , Jazz, Commercial, Ballet, Heels, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Partner Work, Tap, Showgirl

Ornella

Originally from Palermo, Italy, Ornella started her dance training at the age of 3, with Melissa Mackie of the Royal Ballet School, Lilli Russo (ballet) and Daniela Donato (contemporary). She was part of the youth dancers company at Massimo Theatre  and gained work experience as dancer in Palermo Operas. She studies at The Opus Ballet Contemporary school  in Florence where she had the privilege of dancing for international choreographers from around the world.

After moving to London in 2014, she graduated from the West Thames College with HE Dance Course. She has collaborated with the Emmeline Cresswell Dance Company and Sketch Dance Company on multiple creative dance projects. In 2016 she taught adults ballet  classes at West Thames College and recently  started studying a new dance fusion of Contemporary and Capoeira classes. In 2019 she  started teaching children at Ballet North School,  preparing children for the IDTA exams. She is also currently studying at Royal Academy Dance where she will become qualifies to teach the RAD ballet syllabus.

Ines Carvalho

Ines is a choreographer, performer and teacher in the areas of Contemporary, Jazz and Ballet. In 2011, she was selected to represent Portugal during the Dance Excellence Festival in Los Angeles and won the 1st Place in Contemporary Dance (Advanced) at Festival Norte Dança, in Portugal, in 2015. In between, she started teaching dance to groups of all ages and she co-created a pioneer dance therapy project for mental health awareness. As a performer, she was a member of Sabor Latino Dance Company and work as a freelancer in many projects. In 2018, she moved to London where she started teaching Contemporary Dance for adults at City Academy. Her latest work includes performing at the cyber show 'Connect', choreographed by the American artist Bianca Paige Smith and as a choreographer of the video-performance 'Past is not Dead'. She is passionate about connecting dance to well-being and she loves the creative power of contemporary dance.
